I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!
Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:
Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.
Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

The celebration of Jesus and His Father. My family, friends and all the love they each share. The memories that are made and shared. The way Christmas brings out the best in most people.

Normally I cringe when I see wreaths made out of vintage ornaments because I’d rather see them hanging on my aluminum Christmas tree! But these are so gorgeous and my favorite part of the holidays is the decorating and getting into the spirit. My mom had the tree-hugger elves hung from corniceboards when I was little, and she used to get so mad at me when I would pull their long, gangly legs out and leave them dangling!! LOL!!!

I’ve gotten a bit Grinchified over the years, but I still mostly like the music. Especially the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas one.

I LOVE this!!! So beautiful. I bought boxes and boxes of shiny-brite reproduction ornaments at JCPenny in an after Christmas sale. This season, the tree will be nothing but shiny-brite with white mini lights and C9 colored bulbs.

I love these wreaths and have admired her creations for a couple years now. Our family decorates one tree complete with retro and antique ornaments. We also have several villages we set up throughout the house along with more trees and wreaths. We all love decorating for Christmas!
