Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Instructions to enter to win the Shiny Brite wreath made by Georgia Peachez:

  • STEP #1: Add a comment below and in it: Tell us, what is your favorite part of the holiday season? Or whatever. As always, this is fundamentally about spreading the love in any ole way you’re comfortable with. Please note: If you are a first-time commenter, I must “free” your comment from moderation. This may not happen quickly, especially if it’s the weekend. So hang tight.
  • STEP #2: You must be a subscriber to my weekly newsletter to win. (Yes, I am using this as a way to try to keep you addicted to the blog. Please know, though, you can unsubscribe at any time.)
  • One entry per person.
  • 48 states only. Sorry, Alaska, Hawaii and rest of world — this is quite a bulky item and expensive to ship, as it is.
  • Terms of Use apply to all participation on the blog — please read ’em.
  • I’ll run this one for one full week. So, contest ends Friday morning, Nov. 8, 10 am ish Eastern. Again: Winner gets the wreath shown.
  • I will choose a winner via the random.org random number generator… I will check the newsletter log to see that the winner is a bona-fide newsletter subscriber… if so, I will contact the winner (if not, I will move the next person in the comment stream)… they have one calendar week to respond… and if I don’t hear from them, Iwill move on to the next person in the comment stream. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Be sure to enter your email address correctly in the Comment form!
  • I will post the first name of the winner at the top of this post as soon as they confirm.

Can’t wait to win? Want to make more of your own? Suzy has been super generous and shared her how-to: How to make a Christmas wreath out of vintage Shiny Brites ornaments of your very own. –>.

I do not see any of the comments from November 1 – all comments here are from today only. Is this supposed to happen?

This wreath is GREAT! It would look perfect on the door with my aluminium Christmas tree shining through the window! Hope to win it.

My favorite part is remembering the reason for the season. But then it’s the food, fun and festivities!!

Oh how I love vintage shiny brite ornaments! Snuggling up with my family, flocked tree covered in twinkling lights and candy colored vintage ornaments, crackling fire, and old Christmas movies…*sigh*…I can hardly wait!

Love this wreath! I am going to look up her website. Starting December 1 (NEVER earlier!!!) I load the CD player with Christmas music and start the whole decorating/wrapping process, trying not to stress out but enjoy it like I did when I was a kid. I love getting together with family since we live far away from them.

My childhood memories of Christmas will always be in my mind and heart. I hope the traditions we are giving to our three children from both sides of the family will carry on and help them to create some of their own.

I love thinking of gifts for people — and the decorating, and the baking!
