I would love to share these with my kids, as they are old enough to appreciate them (they are 8 and 11) and it would be fun for us to color together! I’m trying to foster an appreciation for all things mid-century with them and these books would be perfect. Happy weekend, everyone!

These are cool! I probably won’t want to ruin the originals, so I would make copies or scan the pages and then color them. 🙂

I would absolutely color these myself!! I would also frame several of them, too. I need new artwork!! 🙂

Several years ago I bought myself the same, but a new printing, of the Sleeping Beauty colorbook that was my fave as a child. The original was kept in the bottom drawer of the buffet on the sunporch/ dining room of my Papou and Yia-Yia’s house. It is now in the same buffet on my sunporch. My Grandson and I color in it together. Anyway these mid-mod colorbooks would be fun to decorate in the 70’s golds, olives, and oranges that I love.

These are really cool but I’m not much of a coloring person. I’d give them to my grandkids to use with mostly MCM colors crayons or pencils and let them have at it while I watched, enjoying a cocktail. They might come up with some really unusual color combos, who knows? The pages would be perfect to tape to the refrigerator or cupboard door. Big fun none the less!

What fun is this! I will always remember my first box of crayons I got in first grade. There were eight crayons in order of red-yellow-blue-green-purple-orange-brown-black. I colored the top of the inside of the box in each color to make sure I got them back in there in the proper order. Needless to say, I was a neat freak about coloring inside the lines and loved to color and would love these books!

I’d look at them for a long time before deciding where to start, I’m sure, but yes, I would color them!
