In researching our epic series 99 ideas to decorate a pink bathroom, I sure uncovered a lot of flamingo shower curtains. As a followup, Pam set me out on a mission to find my top 10 favorites on the market today, but I became so enamored with what I was finding, I couldn’t stop at just 10. So read on for my top ten favorites plus 24 more fun flamingo designs — enough for a flamboyance!
Kate’s top 10 flamingo shower curtains
1. Flamingos shower curtain from Society 6 — I just love the goofy illustrational quality of this fun flamingo shower curtain — plus the ferny looking leaves really make for a dynamic design. It would be so hard to frown with these two goofy guys staring back at you every morning.
2. Flamingo and dots shower curtain from Society 6 — Pam found this pink and grey polka dotted flamingo shower curtain when she was sending me her ideas for decorating a pink and grey bathroom, and I fell instantly in love. This shower curtain would work well in a variety of bathrooms — vintage and modern.
3. Pink flamingos shower curtain from Cafe Press — I love the graphic quality of this flamingo shower curtain and that it also has aqua, blue and pink flora and fauna floating around the pair of flamingos — which are a pleasing salmony pink.
Hey, readers are saying they can find many of these shower curtains on Amazon too:
5. Flamingos and fish shower curtain from Society 6 — The flamingos on this shower curtain may not look as friendly as some, but I love the variation of pinks and the addition of fun, geometric fish swimming in the water at their feet.
6. Miami Flamingo shower curtain from DENY Designs — This shower curtain makes me giggle in a way that only a hot pink flamingo wearing turquoise shades and carrying a 1980s boom box could. I’d love to hang this in my bathroom and then wait to hear the reactions of all my house guests.
7. Pink flamingo shower curtain from Frontgate — This flamingo shower curtain is quite pricey at $349, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still think it is great, right? It is more subtle than many of the other designs, so in a more elegant setting, this flock of flamingos would still feel right at home.
8. Flamingo Coast shower curtain from The Company Store — I love the hot colors of this flamingo shower curtain — and the fact that the designer strayed from the traditional pink and made some orange flamingos — so much fun!
9. Flamingo shower curtain from Society 6 — This lifelike-looking flamingo has his eye on something, is it me? Am I interrupting his shower? Either way he looks stunning set upon the complementary mint background.
10. Black and pink flamingos shower curtain from Cafe Press — If I had a pink and black bathroom, you know this would be my shower curtain — plus the addition of the lime green, almost day-glow palm trees really jazzes up the design.

Good one!! Thanks!

I knew that Deny designs had the a lot, as I found them in my search. Just too pricy for me. :/

Of course i immediately gravitate to the most expensive – #7 – as my favorite. However, I think #33 will be finding a home with me shortly! Who knew I was in such dire need of a Flamingo shower curtain! ???
tammyCA says
Who knew there were so many flamingo curtains available…and, a wide variety of styles & colors. I think I like #10 the black/pink/green the most because it looks kinda vintage-y…like something you’d see in a cool retro motel. But #1 is cool and also the geometrical fishies in that other one are darling.

I like #2, #5, and #11. Very cool.
Mary says
They are all lovely! Now you need to do a poodle shower curtain story.
Robin, NV says
I like #5 best – the flamingoes look a little grumpy but I like the graphic and the fish. I also like #6 – Miami Vice!
I like this one from cafepress: http://www.cafepress.com/+camper_flamingo_shower_curtain,834700714
and this one too:

Well, the ones on #5 aren’t really grumpy, they’re just too cool – for the school of fish!
The Company Store – ugh! Firstly I don’t have enough money to buy all the cool stuff they put out and, unless you own a hotel, not enough rooms to show all of it off!
Living in SE WI, sometimes in the brutal depths of winter, a flamingo would be a little slice of heaven.

These are great! I’m going through a pink bathroom reno (hopefully starting the 1st!) and have been looking for the perfect shower curtain, looks like I have some shopping to do 😉

Good job, and nice variety! There’s something for everyone! There was a time when I was looking for a flamingo shower curtain (probably the 80s) and none (or very limited) were to be found!
My house is for sale, otherwise I would be getting a new shower curtain for my aqua/grey bathroom. #3 would be perfect. 🙂

I have an avocado tub I will be installing in my bathroom (1978 house that was muddled with 1990’s contractor grade stuff) and That 1st shower looks like the right amount of green and Flamingo to give it a sweet punch of fun!!! It is in the lighter side of avocado and it might match perfectly. I also have a Flamingo statue and maybe i can talk hubs into letting me paint the little strip of wall above the salt and pepper tile, pink? My house is so Decade confused sometimes. Because I love so many decades and styles!

Sounds awesome Shannon! 🙂
Janet in ME says
Wow, this is a tough one picking a favorite! I like #7 for its tranquility – figures I would pick an expensive one, # 22 for its colors, and #33 because it’s wacky. Sure wish I had a pink bathroom! These are just great – thanks for posting them, Kate! Shannon, you are so brave installing an avocado tub! Bravo for keeping the bathroom proper to the time period!
Shannon says
Thanks, I got the tub on Craigslist as a uninstalled mint condition beauty that the previous owner never got around do upgrading an old half bath into a full bath. He then put it in storage and his son finally had to get rid of it himself. It still has the stickers on the bottom showing date it was delivered. Then 2 weeks later a wall hung sink in a completely different town that looked close in color came up on Craigslist. I had a paint chip with the tub color and went to look at the sink and of course it is EXACTLY the same. The sink doesnt have any marking I can find but it has to be the same brand? So they are both in my basement waiting for me to get the funds to get to work (I will have to move some plumbing so its no weekender thing). Pics when I am done I promise!
