I’ve had a few lava lamps in the past. I would love to put this in my sewing/craft room – it has a turquoise and orange color scheme.

I’d use it down in my Tiki Lounge basement, over in the retro corner next to my 1960 Philco Predicta!

Is it possible to be a devoteé of Retro Renovations and NOT lust for this Lava Lite?
We are a few days away from closing on a tiny 1940s foreclosure cottage in a beach town on the Pacific coast, 2000 miles from our current home in Texas. When the last owners walked away from our wee cottage, they left behind 1950s era wiring and plumbing, a 1962 Frigidaire Flair range and a George Nelson bubble lamp in the kitchen (along with canned goods in the cupboards, dishes, pots and pans, musty furniture and assorted scary stuff).
While a lava lamp may be the last thing our new project home needs, I am envisioning starting our retro-vation with this burbling beauty sitting in the center of the living room floor, beckoning us on to bring back the mid century charm currently obscured under layers of horrible.

This would be prominently displayed in my Living room. First time I saw one was in my Dentist office and was mesmerized by it and could not stop looking at it. The only reason to go to the dentist as a kid.
Kelly says
I would use it on the bar in our purple living room! We shoot our web series there, so it would be seen by many folks every week!
