I’m so excited to find your site! We have an old colonial that was majorly renovated in the 1950’s, and we don’t have the inclination or budget for a big, expensive redo. Plus we like the 50’s style. My dad had a clock like this when I was a kid and I loved watching its eyes and tail swing back and forth. I don’t know where it went, but I’ve always hoped I could have it in our house. Fingers crossed! >^..^<

I remember being fascinated by the cat clocks as a child. I always wanted one as a part of my growing cat collection that I started when I was 6. My guess is they were too pricey for my widowed mom to give a kid as a gift. When I found some later on they were vintage and too much for my college or early married with kids budget. I have always enjoyed watching them when ever I saw one. Now that I’ve retired from moving around the world with the military ( from which my mostly ceramic cat collection has suffered) and bought my “forever” ,and hopefully ceramic safe home, a Kat Klock is on my bucket list.

Wow, this clock takes me back to the thrill of watching the Jetsons when I was a little girl! I love it!
