My husband and I have always been a fan of cats. My first cat was a black cat and these clocks remind me of her. We saved her from the Michigan Humane Society. She passed away last year. She was 19 years old. I also had another black cat named Kitty-Witty my sister and I saved her from the Minneapolis Humane Society. She died last year also at the age of 15. I try to tell people if they are thinking about saving a cat or kitten to please save black cats because they are hard to adopt. People are superstitious.

If I win, I shall place this clock in memoriam in the same spot where my last Kit Kat clock died, after almost 3 whole months of faithful service.
They just don’t make ’em like they used to. I know Shag will do better, though!
