Info about Modern Puzzles from the company’s news release:

Modern Puzzles is the vision of two graphic designers, Gavin Levy and William Logan, who have united their passion for mid-century modern architecture and design with their newly found passion for challenging puzzles. During the stay at home orders due to COVID-19, both designers came to the realization that the puzzles currently in the marketplace didn’t satisfy their tastes in both the subject matter and the aesthetic. After working with a renowned illustrator, Christian Musselman, on one of their professional design projects, they were inspired to bring his style to the puzzle world.

This creative collaboration resulted in three 1000-piece puzzles that invite you into a sleek and swanky lounge party set in a fantastic composition of mid-century modern homes stacked on top of each other. The puzzle series captures the moods and feelings strongly associated with the era. “Beach Vibes”, “Desert Sunset”, and “International House Party” will put you in a swingin’ retro mood and provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family!

“Christian spent months collaborating with us customizing the images specifically for optimizing the puzzle experience. He added his unique design flair to create the perfect combination of colors and details that capture the mid mod era,” explained, Gavin Levy, co-founder, Modern Puzzles.

“With a nod to mid-mod enthusiasts, Christian has incorporated over 15 different iconic mid-century designs within the three puzzles. From Charles and Ray Eames dining chairs and George Nelson Bubble Lamps, to an Alexander Calder sculpture and a Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy Butterfly Chair, these exceptional design images become more than just a puzzle, they are an accurate yet playful representation of an important and influential design era,” says William Logan, co-founder of Modern Puzzles.

The 500 piece holiday puzzle named “Frost & Fire”, illustrated by Matt LeBarre, features an A-Frame nestled in a winter wonderland. The perfect puzzle to challenge yourself on a snowy night next to the fireplace this holiday season. Lebarre is an illustrator from Royal Oak, Michigan that has established a unique mid-century modern niche of a mash up of Northwest Coast art and mid-century modern furniture.

Thank you, Gavin, for sharing these images with us! Nicely done, all!
