Vintage Frigidaire Flair – the all time favorite for a 60s kitchen?

pam kueber - Updated: September 11, 2020

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

vintage-pink-frigidaire-flair-ad-2.jpgFlickr friend Two-Bad provides these images of his (her?) Frigidaire Flair range, along with a vintage ad. Readers say that Samantha Stevens had one in Bewitched. While this model had many imitators – for some reason, the Frigidaire Flair seems to be everyone’s favorite. And look at how great the Danish Modern orange looks with the pink… and the gold… and are those popovers in the oven on the left? Many thanks, Two-Bad!

Need help finding a model number. My mother, 90 years old with dementia, has had hers since new in the 60’s. Last night the panel light went crazy and looked like a strobe light. I opened the light panel to remove the bulb to replace and had a spark. I turned the light knob to off and had a big flash and it tripped the breaker at the panel. It says Custom Imperial on it and has the clock with 3 knobs under on the left side with 8 knobs on the right and in the middle has the logo with a knob for the roast thermometer setting. Because of her dementia, replacing the unit is not possible. She still has muscle memory for her old routines and we want her to safely continue to do things independently…with supervision… I want find the model number to find replacement parts.
