[Contest closed.] Be sure to enter to win this month’s Love The House You’re In collage… like Joe, Anthony & ruff ruff Bella, above. Read on for instructions on how to enter. It’s pretty eeeezzzzeeee….
To enter, complete these two steps:
- Leave a comment on this post answering the question: What’s your favorite flavor for a summer ice cream? And: Cone? Cup? Shake?
- And, subscribe to my newsletter. Yes, this helps me build my newsletter list… I send ’em out just once a week, usually.
Please read all the rules here before entering, they all apply. I’ll pick a reader the last day of the month — so there’s a lot of time to do some crucial ice cream taste testing, as required, to make sure you leave an answer for the ages that’s just right.
Meanwhile — thanks again to Mel for a fabulous collage! You can find Mel’s collage works on flickr and her blog, Much Ado About Stuff.

Summertime… when I’m home in Jersey, I go down the shore and always have a Kohr’s frozen banana custard cone… though it’s not usually served in one of these, my favorite cone is the good old-fashioned sugar with the pointed tip that I can bite and suck out the rest of my melted ice cream (Friendly’s Watermelon sherbet). Cup would be half chocolate and half vanilla – perferably Good Humor. Shake? Coffee for my grown-up self.

I’d have to pick an Almond Joy cone…sugar cone, of course. Yummm, wishing I had one right now!

I love many many flavors and brands of vegan ice cream, but my favorite go-to flavor is So Delicious Purely Decadent Peanut Butter Zig Zag. The dark chocolate and swirly chunks of peanut butter cream are amazing. Straight out of the container is way too easy to do, but in a cone is the best!
