How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

Fantastic looking wreath! My parents had vintage ornaments from their parents like these (and older) that I always loved to hang on the tree. There’s even a lonely hook on my door (1957 tri-level) just waiting for a wreath this season.

I have many of my husbands grandmother’s Shiney Brite orn. as well as a dozen from my mother. I use them on my aluminum tree!

A few years ago, I actually made one similar to this in concept. Mine is no where near as beautiful in execution. Funny how some people just “have” the talent and eye for creating and some (me) don’t.
