How to make a wreath using vintage Christmas tree ornaments — Suzy’s instructions
I bet we’ll get a lot of entries for this one — and there can only be one winner. So, the idea behind posting this giveaway right now is to remind you creative types to think ahead … make sure you’re collecting a whole bunch of vintage ornies … and gear up to make one of these yourself maybe. I know that in a lot of thrift stores across America, they start pulling out all the vintage ornaments for sale pretty soon. Or, maybe you’ve been collecting them all summer? That said, I know a lot of us *think* we’ll do a project… but never do… so keep an eye on Suzy’s blog because she keeps making wreaths all fall… she posts them for sale… and they sell out fast!

There is so much beauty still in this world. It reminds me of my Great Grandma Ruby. It’s unfortunate she isn’t with me anymore, but her love of vintage things, and Christmas, makes me smile. So I gotta say this wreath makes me, and my heart, smile.

Oh, so excited you’re having another wreath giveaway! I have to spend Christmas alone this year because my husband is fighting in Afghanistan, so some shiny trinkets sure would make the holiday season that much brighter!!

I remember these from last year! So pretty and a great way to reuse. This would come in handy for me this year. I don’t know if my two kittens are going to permit a Christmas tree. 😉 The wreath would give a “shiny brite” look to my living room!

I saw some beautiful ornaments in the wreath. I collect vintage ornaments, but I use them on my vintage tree each year. I adore the shapes and colors of them.

That wreath is positively perfect, and would go so well with my “Christmas Story” tree topper. (My husband’s family had the exact same tree topper as they had in “Christmas Story” and it was handed down to us!)
