Love it!!! I grew up in a ’59 ranch that had that same peachy beige bathroom. This is the only other house in which I have seen that color. Along with everyone else, I hope the new owners love it as is!

I love the house! Tri-level houses were introduced in the ’50s, and the long, sloping roof line was the way they integrated the third level without having to have a multi-angled roof. If it weren’t for the upper bedroom window, you wouldn’t even notice there was a third level. I am not particularly fond of green, but the green bathroom is beautiful. The color combos were pulled off perfectly. I’m not thrilled with the wall paper in the other bathrooms (maybe a bit too busy), and certainly don’t like the wall paper on the ceilings. It brings the ceilings down and makes the rooms look too confined. Of course, the pink bathrooms are divine!

I’m in LOVE with this house! (Not the wallpaper though…) I’d love to have those kitchen cabinets and that porch is to die for! The lights are fantastic. Hope the new owners appreciate this house for what it is – FABULOUS!

Now that’s a time capsule! Not only is 99.999% unmonkeyed with (those kitchen light fixtures and the white toidys are suspect) 🙂 but it’s like a complete checklist of all my dream house features:
*Peaked glass
*Double front doors
*Roof that sweeps out to form a carport
All I need to move in (besides $475,000) is a starburst lighted doorbell. What a house!

I had the opportunity to visit this house for an estate sale and was totally overwhelmed by it. Besides the obvious mid-century charm, the house sits on a nice piece of property in a very nice neighborhood surrounded by much more “traditional” houses. It’s incredible.
So glad it found its way here, I hope someone who appreciates it in its current state will buy it and preserve it, hate to think of someone going in and gutting it.

This house does such a great job at letting the outdoors take center stage. The windows in the entryway and in the sunroom are spectacular. The lighting and kitchen cabinets are spot on. The best bathroom is the green one, the wallpaper is perfect. As for the other two… I’d need time for the wallpaper to grow on me.
