But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!
Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:
Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

I have a beautiful new Therma Tru door that is perfect for this beautiful wreath. I love Christmas when I sit in the dark and look at my 9-10 aluminum trees spinning with the color lights shining on them. It makes my home feel magical and special.

Oooooooh I LoVe all holidays, but from Halloween to Christmas this girl is is tickled pink! 🙂 Sooooooo Adore these wreaths!! Seeing all the Shiny Brite brings back so many sweet Christmas memories with my grandmother and mother ? Now sharing that love with my own children and grandchildren. Unpacking the ornaments and decorating the pixie tree is one of the highlights to kicking off a kitschy Christmas!

I love setting up our tree, and putting on my husband’s family ornaments from the 40s, along with all the vintage and retro looking ones we have found and collected together.

My favorite part of the holiday season is baking cookies. I start early, making pumpkin cookies every few weeks starting in October, but things really kick into gear in December, with tins filling up with ginger snaps, stained-glass cookies, cpo cookies, twists, waffle-iron cookies, snickerdoodles, and the list goes on. The stained-glass cookies, though not a retro recipe, certainly look very mid-century to me, with the old cookie cutter shapes and cut outs with jolly rancher “colored glass” melted into them. They are also very fun to do with children.

My favorite part of the holidays is decorating!
I have a vintage silver aluminum 6ft, 82 branch pom pom x-mas tree that makes me happy to unpack it. I also have an antique doll house that was my grandmothers that I set up. It brings a tear to my eye every year.
This wreath would make a fantastic addition to our holiday collection!

What I love:
– the lighted tree takes the edge off the shorter days and getting dark so early in the evenings
– the lights, candles, music and memories brings such peace to my life
– my ornaments represent years of memories and makes me smile inside!

My favorite part of the holiday is the pure joy on my kids’ faces Christmas morning. Yes, it is corny. I also rather enjoy the exasperation of my husband at my ever-growing vintage Christmas kitsch collection!!!

My favorite part of Christmas is having family and friends over on Christmas Day. The children all play and wait for Santa to arrive!
We have great food and lots of memories from the Christmas’s Past.
Remembering all of our loved one’s who made the foundation for us to carry on the family traditions. We laugh and have a wonderful day!
Thank you for sharring your site with everyone. Love the vintage wreath. The ornaments are just delightful and full of Christmas Memories.
