Tiki Diablo aka Danny Gallardo tiki decor started arriving all this week at 600 Home Depots — west of the Mississippi only — –>> read my original story for all the details — and since then, tikiphiles have been eagerly pursuing this precious prey. I am friends with Danny and got permission to feature some of these photos from his friends. Everyone is pretty excited!!! Above: Elroy got this great shot of the display, all ready to go! Thanks, Elroy!
UPDATE: Sales of these items ended in 2015.
Above: Johnny had to go to seven Home Depots to find these four-foot tall tikis. He gets the award for tiki tenacity! Thank you, Johnny!
Above: Doug nabbed his fresh off the truck — okay, Doug gets gold stars for tiki tenacity, too!
Above: Stephen nabbed a 4′ California Ku style tiki. How fun fun fun it must be to roll this around Home Depot in the shopping cart! Thank, you, Stephen!
Above: All the tikis in a row, ready to go! Thanks, Elroy, for this photo!
Above: John went home and set his Maori style tiki right up! Thank you, John, for the great photo!
Above: David makes the Tiki Diablo bar look mighty inviting!
Above: Christina found the Tiki Diablo tiki planters for her office. Thank you, Christina!
Above: Jorge ran into another tikiphile on the prowl to Tiki Diabl0-ware when he was at the Home Depot. Fantastic photo of the planters — thank you, Jorge! I waaaaaant them all *snit fit that they are not for sale in Massachusetts*
Above: Aura nabbed the last tiki planter in her Home Depot store for her mom Lela!

Oops. Meant to comment on the more recent thread! I’ve checked 3 Home Depots in San Jose, CA – no luck yet! There are other style Tikis, but I really want the Tiki Diablo Maori! Have there been any confirmed Northern California sightings yet?
pam kueber says
Nancy, click through and read the original story – you can request a store-to-store transfer
Nancy says
Yeah. Trouble is, I need to *find* some first! The folks at Home Depot are not schooled in the Art of Tiki and have no idea what I’m talking about when I ask for “Tiki Diablo.” They are just “Tikis? Yeah, we’ve got ’em!” and it turns out they are not the Tiki Diablos – Boo! I did check one of the Tiki boards and it seems there was a confirmed sighting at a store about an hour from here so – wish me luck!
Nancy says
Happy to report that the Tiki Diablos *have* arrived at my local HD. I scored a California Ku today! No Maoris at my store, unfortunately, but I might check a couple of the other San Jose stores.
Natalie says
I was at Home Depot today and saw all of the Tiki! I love, love them all. There was a cool green guy that will be joining the Tiki in my backyard very soon.
Renee Polley says
Homedepot.com customer service hooked me up with a store in Las Vegas (lived there up until last year, now live in Atlanta) and the store manager is sending pictures so I can buy through them and they will send it to my house.
pam kueber says
What!
Mary Elizabeth says
Renee, that is so cool! I didn’t know that they would send from the stores. Maybe this is the poke they need to realize people all over the country are tiki-crazy.
Monster Bob says
I ordered a bar myself. Realize though it will be shipped by an independent (outside) shipper, at a cost of about half of what the bar itself costs. Oh well.
Monster Bob says
(I am East of the Mississippi).
pam kueber says
Still seems pretty inexpensive… could they not deliver to the store?
Monster Bob says
Not across the Mississippi, apparently. They had no shipping between stores across the line.
Wes says
Just picked up a bar and 6 bar stools at the White Rock Home Depot in Dallas, TX last night. They have 7 more bars and 20 chairs left !
Reid says
They are in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Paula says
Saw them in Portland OR last night
Ree says
Home Depot in Baton Rouge has all of the Tiki products. We are barely east of the Mississippi.
pam kueber says
Wow! Tiki Diablo products???
Ree says
The label is not Tiki Diablo, it reads “Hawaiian Days” by Plant Source, Inc., but all of the products look just like the ones you posted on your site. Planters, totems, the bar, bar stools, and wall decor.
cellen says
Doesn’t HomeDepot understand the people east of the Mississippi need tiki, too.
I vaguely remember people driving over the mighty river to buy Coors. We should organize a convoy to buy tiki!
Jeff Moore says
When are these coming to Northern California..??
pam kueber says
See the original story — it may take up to two weeks for all the inventory to get out there. https://retrorenovation.com/2015/07/02/tiki-decor-home-depot-tiki-diablo-danny-gallardo/

If you get a chance check out our restored vintage refrigerators.
