We would out the lava lamp next to our juke box and stereo. It would be great to have on while listening to old albums!

I’ve been working to convert my modular home to a mid century look for a while now. My dream was a “spaceship” kitchen, you know, like the Jetsons house (this statement left my in laws speechless, not sure why. No imagination I guess). This would be a perfect addition to my buffet, maybe not the exact time period, but really spacey & groovy!

I would use it in the living room of my funky 1961 L-shaped ranch. I particularly love the Louisiana State University colors, and I’m a purple flurple.

My grandparents used to have a red lava lamp that I would plug in and wait for-ev-er for to start working. I think one of my sisters ended up with it and probably threw it away 🙁
