My new house is also 50 years old. I think a Lava Lamp would be the perfect addition to either the living room or office. Great story on the Lava Lamp history.

I think my 70’s living room could really use a Lava Lamp.

I think a lava lamp would be fabulous in the bathroom, where the lack of distractions would allow deep contemplation.

I’ve loved Lava Lamps since I was a little kid and I always have room for one more!

I would definitely put it in the bedroom! I have always wanted one. I remember in high school I had the beads in my doorway, a tie-dye butterfly chair, a flower rug, etc. Never got the lamp though to finish off the room. They are so neat!

Definitely would use this in my new old tiki bar basement. Would fit in perfect with my Beauti-vue hanging lamp & Beauti-vue beaded door & curtains. Lava lamps bring back awesome memories.
Anthony says
I would put it in the bathroom to chill out while soaking in a hot tub and all my cares would melt away.
