I have a spot picked out for this burnished beauty: on top of my great grandmother’s desk, just to the right of a Colonial-era, convex mirror and barely casting its light upon a miniature bust of Praxiteles. Quel tableau! H.Steele

If that Lavanderful Lamp comes my way it’ll go in me bathroom, to provide a soothing and engaging point-of-interest, instead of tacky pre-read reading material.

If I were blessed by winning this awesome blast from the past, I’d put it on the end table right next to my favorite Freeman-McFarlin oversize boomerang ashtray and a DeForest boomerang candy dish. Woo-hoo!!

I still have my first Lava Lamp! It was a Christmas gift from my mother. Though the ex tried to get me toss it many, many times, I held fast. It was my style and it’s fabulous! It now lives on the shelf right next to my desk.
Should I win, this new lovely will go in my closet – the colors are a perfect match!
I didn’t get a pic – shame on me – but one of favorite memories, is of my lil man Jenks laying on my desk watching the Lava. Was it attackable? Edible? Or ignorable?

If I win, I will put this on my desk, to help me relax and get into ‘the zone’ when I’m working on a novel. These lamps are more mesmerizing than an aquarium, and practically maintenance free!
