I would put it in my living room. It would add life to my little place. I’ve always wanted a lava lamp. I don’t have my dream retro house. But I hope to someday. (I can’t do anything with my apartment. 🙁 )

I’m slowly getting a vintage 60’s/70’s vibe going in my living room, and I think I’d leave that lava lamp on a groovy end table by the sofa. Perfect for mesmerizing!

Hi, I would use this lamp in my grandsons newly redone bedroom. He’s only 2 now, but I have such fond memories of drifting off to sleep watching the amazing goo floating around that I think it wil be a fun memory for him too when he comes to visit at grandmas house!

I remember a factory on the near North side of Chicago where they manufactured the lava lamp.
I would put the lava lamp in my bedroom where I have a 1950’s era bedroom set. It would relax me and help me sleep.

My favorite memory of the lava lamp is from when I was around 5 or 6 years old (mid-70s). We would go up Bouquet Canyon to my great aunt (and she WAS great!) and uncle’s cabin. The place was stone and wood and so kitschy cool, looking back now. I remember the lamp up on the shelf, glowing and being globulous. I would be on the couch sitting between the adults and I would tune everyone out and fall asleep watching those red blobs grow and shrink, rise and sink. A very fond memory!
