I would put it in my youngest son’s room as he would really like the way the lava lamp moves. Of course his sister and brother might get jealous. Maybe it would be better to put it in the living room!

Our high school drama club kids want a lava lamp in the costume room. I think it would be an inspiration and, of course …. just plain cool to look at!

This would look awesome in my office! I’m lucky to spend every day in a very mid-century building designed in the 60’s by the founder of the architect firm where I work.
I would turn this on to brighten up the dark, cloudy days 🙂

I’ve been trying to get my kids to enjoy mid-century design, so they won’t detest going through antique stores and flea markets. So, I’ve encouraged them to collect something. So far, he’s taken to Lava Lamps. So, he wants to start a collection. So far, he has one.

I would have it on my bedside and watch it to relax. As a child I saved up money and bought one from Ames and watched it at night before bed, I don’t know why I found it so relaxing.
