This lava lamp would look perfect in my bedroom, which has a lot of gold, yellow and orange. I would look at it in the middle of the night, when I have occasional insomnia, and remember what it was like coming of age in the sixties. 🙂
Ann Fairfield says
I would love to have one to place on my kitchen counter.

We had one of these when I was a kid, I loved it. Vividly remember the day it fell off the mantle and met it’s demise. I want this! I need this!! It would go right next to the tv.
Susan says
This would sit with my other lava lamps on my mid century buffet.
DJM says
Would put in my office and stare at it instead of my computer.
Julie says
I would put it in my mid-mod room divider, with my other beautiful lava lamps!!

When I was little, there was a shoe store we went to for all of my Buster Brown needs. They not only had a tree that dispensed little toys in eggs, but they had several lava lamps. This was the coolest thing to my six year old self. I wish I could claim that if I won, it would go into some equally cool decor, but I haven’t yet furnished my apartment. So, it would sit on the empty box I use as a nightstand and comfort me with its lava-y goodness.

Oh my! Where do I start! My memories of being JEALOUS of my brother’s lava lamp? I was thrilled when he moved out and I got to keep it! I think I would enjoy another one nowadays in my living room or family room!
Teresa S. says
I would proudly display it next to my TV. It will fit in well with my Art Deco brass floor lamp, 1950’s green plastic bead multi-lamp shade floor lamp that has a spring to stand it up from floor to ceiling, and my 1950’s two-tiered red lamp shade with a wooden “C” base. I love these lamps and family and friends are always wanting to take them home. Nope! Their mine!

I think I remember buying my daughter s lava lamp when she was younger–even though I really wanted one myself. If I were to win this one, it would certainly stay in my bedroom so I could enjoy it there.
