As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. - To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and because our goal is to schedule a giveaway every two weeks.)
- To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us what is your favorite part of the holiday season. Or whatever, we’re easy.
- One entry per person. U.S. lower 48 states only.
- Entries close on Monday, Nov. 30, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, we will close the Comments field at that time.
- Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the vintage ornament wreath pictured above, made by the GeorgiaPeachez.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. We will email each person. My husband and I just recently moved into our dream home about a year and a half ago. It is a 1963 brick ranch with all the delicious retro touches including a pink tile bathroom, hardwood floors, and an original stainless steel stove top! Now that we have our little home jem, we are proud to host the holidays in our house. All of our friends and family come at Christmas and we share our special little nest we our so proud of! The delicious food, seeing my beautiful grandma, vintage decorations, but most of all wrapping and making presents…that is my favorite of all!

What I love most about the holidays is the spirit and tradition. There is a special feeling I get each year that only the holidays can bring. As a child my mom always used to decorate the house top to bottom. No mater if we were having a tough year and things were tight, the cheer that her decor brought was irreplaceable. It reminded me that family was the most important part of life, not the presents! As I have gotten older, decorating my own home is not just something I do, it’s part of the holiday magic! My son will be 2 this year and I so look forward to bringing this joy into his life the way my mom did for me! The magic of decorating the tree, the hot chocolate, waiting for Santa and Christmas morning!! The memories that have been created with all these traditions will last a lifetime and that is what I cherish most!

My favorite thing about Christmas is the house being decorated in shiney, bright colors. It brings a joy and excitement to each day. It also brings all of my family together!

Favorite memory is going to look at Christmas lights with dad and coming home to find Santa had been there. Then playing with our new toys until time to go to Midnight Mass.
