As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. - To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and because our goal is to schedule a giveaway every two weeks.)
- To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us what is your favorite part of the holiday season. Or whatever, we’re easy.
- One entry per person. U.S. lower 48 states only.
- Entries close on Monday, Nov. 30, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, we will close the Comments field at that time.
- Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the vintage ornament wreath pictured above, made by the GeorgiaPeachez.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. We will email each person. I bought a wreath from you about 4-5 years ago. I just love seeing it hung up in our foyer. As soon as you walk in our home – it shares the happy tone that we feel. Family time and celebrating the birth of Jesus is what’s most important to me but the “retro look” of my wreath, brings out the kid in me.

Nothing brings me to the essence of Christmas like watching old 8mm family Christmas movies–the kind when the hot glare of the movie camera light blinded you as you descend the stairs to open presents. My mother never looked more beautiful than when she was waving off the camera so my father would photograph me and my brother. Sounds of Bing Crosby is a nice accompaniment to these celluloid memories.

My HomeGoods in Vero Beach, FL has Shiney Bright glass ornaments and garland now. Very vintage looking. I love all of Christmas and my favorite is going to church on Christmas Eve.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to have one of these lovely wreathed adorning my granny ranch front door this Christmas season! One of my very favorite parts of Christmas happens late at night after everyone’s already gone to bed – and I’m up listening to all my old Sinatra, Crosby, & Elvis Christmas albums on the vintage stereo while cheerily making Christmas cookies and & bottling up batches of my special homemade Kahlua to hand deliver to all my neighbors & friends the next day! It’s so peaceful to enjoy some contemplative solitude for a bit as I enjoying the lovely twinkling lights & scent of the Christmas tree and see at my Mom’s vintage manger scene display reminding me what this holiday is really all about 🙂

I absolutely adore vintage Christmas ornaments, especially stenciled Shiny Brites. My favorite part of Christmas is having my whole family home (my daughter is away at college) and watching home videos from Christmas’ past.

I saw a Georgia Peachez wreath on Retro Renovation when you first shared them with us, and initially thought “I could do that!” but didn’t. So then I decided to splurge on one of her originals and I am So Glad I Did! The attention to detail, the different ornaments, she did a much better job that I would have, and I love hanging it up every holiday season.
My favorite part of the holidays would be our annual open house at our little Hacienda. I love seeing everyone gather together and see old friends, meet new people.

I love vintage Christmas decorations! I start early November decorating. Things can get a tad difficult at times due to me being in a scooter-but I do get my things displayed and it gives me such a wonderful feeling of seeing all the beautiful old things that sparkle and shine. I am home alone most of the time so sitting back listening to Christmas music and looking at my beautiful things brings me back to my childhood and makes me happy inside
