Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.
As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

My favorite part of the season is the spirit of peace on earth, good will toward all.
My favorite part of this wreath is the reindeer and pixie. My grandma had a set of each to go with her wooden Santa and his sleigh. Sure miss that setup!

Favorite part, hands down, is being in church at the end of the Christmas Eve service when all of the lights are turned off in the building save for the four lit candles on the altar; from there, everyone lights their candle and then in the dark church flooded with candlelight, we sing Silent Night, Holy Night.

My favorite part of the holidays is when I frost cookies with my Granny and cousins. We have frosted Christmas cookies every year since I can remember. Even though all of us grandchildren are now adults, we still get together for this tradition. Now that all of my cousins are having children, we get to include them in this pastime. I realize that I am so blessed to be in my thirties and be able to continue to have tradition with my grandparents.
