Update: Congratulation to Richard, the happy winner of this wreath giveaway. His number came up in the random. Thanks, everyone, for playing, and super thanks to Suzy for helping with this giveaway this year! ENTRIES NOW CLOSED.
Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.
As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

The holidays of December, even Thanksgiving in November, bring such a great opportunity to slow the pace, even if just for a day or so, and savour the memories of days gone by. I find such joy in “remembering” and sharing those memories with others, be it friends or family! And all the while, I’m busy making new memories with special people young and old in all types of circumstances. Just a real treasure trove of a time each year. Happy Holidays everyone 🙂

My favorite part of the holiday season is being with my family for the Christmas Eve service at church. Singing and listening to scripture and celebrating our faith, makes Christmas special.
Beth says
My favorite part is the sharing of these longer nights with our friends and family, candles in the house, soup and biscuits on the table with conversation all around.

I am an email subscriber…that is how I found out about this contest! My favorite part of the holidays is the aesthetic. I love the rich, jewel-tone colors and decorations, both tasteful and over-the-top. The “look” of the holidays, with its bright, shiny-ness, is so delightful, especially as the sun seems to shrink away from us!

My favorite part of the holiday season is putting our my 1960s Angels. I found them at an antique store 4 years ago and they’re exactly like the set my mother has. I usually don’t put them away until Valentine’s Day – ha!
Would love to win this beautiful wreath!
