Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.
As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

Favorite thing about Christmas–remembering a snowy Christmas Eve mass, the church was so full men stood in the back so women & children could sit. Sitting on my lap was our 2 yr. old daughter when our two mos. old daughter who was in her father’s arms started to cry. The 10+ row of people passed a bottle back for the baby. A hush fell and we all remembered a baby in a manger…it was a magical moment.

I’d love one! I’d love two…but one is just fine.

My job was to string the lights on the tree every year. Took hours (and tons of forearm scratches) to get them just right. Then I’d lie down underneath it and look up through the branches.
Charlotte says
I especially enjoy the music and the decorations.

My best part of Christmas is the laughter.

The best part of Christmas is getting the family together. The vintage wreath reminds me of my childhood Christmas tree!
Carol says
My favorite part of the holidays is looking and laughing at the ornaments my sisters and I made as kids. We all end up sitting around the tree reminiscing, drinking hot chocolate and laughing for hours???? Now that we have children and grandchildren of our own it makes these moments all the more special. Merry Christmas everybody!
