As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. How to enter to win a vintage ornament wreath made by GeorgiaPeachez:
- To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and because our goal is to schedule a giveaway every two weeks.)
- To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us what is your favorite part of the holiday season. Or whatever, we’re easy.
- One entry per person. U.S. lower 48 states only.
- Entries close on Monday, Nov. 30, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, we will close the Comments field at that time.
- Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the vintage ornament wreath pictured above, made by the GeorgiaPeachez.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. We will email each person. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. Love the wreath! My favorite part of Christmas is sitting in the living room looking at the tree all lit up and sparkling after the kids have gone to bed on Christmas Eve.

These wreaths evoke everything bubbly about Christmas, and every time I see one, I smile.
In our neighborhood, we have no streetlights at all, because we are firmly committed to the luminaria display on the 24th. No streetlights, no holiday lights–in fact, hardly an outside decoration–all because of the luminaria display. We even cover all of our windows so there is no distraction from the houses, and we can walk through the candlelight only. On December 24th, we welcome the city to walk our few streets. Some of us sing carols, many of us visit from house to house, nearly all of us take many strolls, stopping at home to warm up for a few minutes with a bowl of posole and a plate of tamales. Preparing for the night is a lot of work, but there we all are, carefully setting out the bags with the seams facing in, helping each other get sand from the community pile, taking care of those out-of-town neighbor’s houses. Every house in our neighborhood, and one whole street center. It is a magical sight.

Fav thing is being with family but love decorating too especially with items passed down or given to me by someone special. I try and tell my kids the story behind it and why it’s special to us.

I love Christmas because it is Jesus Birthday. My children have been with me on Christmas for 82 years. Never missed one! I am so Blessed!
