[Entries now closed] Enter to win an Ikea PS 2014 pendant light

pam kueber - Updated: April 13, 2020

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

Ikea lightUPDATE: Contest closed. We spinned (spun?) the random and have a winner: Congrats to Lisa, whose number came up and who promptly claimed our prize. Come back every other Friday for our next giveaway!

Howdy, hudee — it’s our first giveaway of the new year. Yesterday we wrote about how gobsmacked Pam was, when she saw the Ikea PS 2014 pendant lamp for the first time in person. Today — you can enter to win one of these lights, provided by Ikea.

How to enter to win an Ikea PS 2014 pendant light:

  • To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and because our goal is to schedule a giveaway every two weeks.)
  • To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us where you might hang this light. Or whatever, we’re easy.
  • One entry per person. U.S. lower 48 states only.
  • Entries close on Friday, Jan. 22, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, we will close the Comments field at that time.
  • Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the light in the color of their choice directly from Ikea.
  • Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. We will email each person. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. If we do not hear from them, we will choose the next person who commented. Lather, rinse, repeat. We will post the winner’s first name as soon as all is confirmed.
  • Terms of use apply.

Many thanks to Ikea for providing the light for this giveaway!

And congrats to Richard, winners of our last giveaway, a vintage Christmas ornament wreath from Georgia Peachez.

Disclosure: We were not paid to host this giveaway —

I’d love to hang this in the dining room.

We just did our kitchen in orange, so the orange one would be perfect over the table!

This would look great over our dining table. I hope I am the lucky one. Thanks

What an great light fixture! I would choose the orange one, of course for my living area. We just finished, well almost finished (are you ever truly done?) our HUGE one year remodel of our living, dining, kitchen area. We live in my grandmother’s house, that was build in 1940 and remodeled in 1968. We salvaged a set of cabinet doors for the dining area that have orange plexi-glass inserts, so this would coordinate perfectly!

This great concept of a light fixture makes me smile. I would hang it in the pass through from my kitchen to the den so that I could see it all the time.
