Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.
I forget by a day every year — happy birthday to we — we’re nine — yesterday, Oct. 26! That’s like, what — 35 years — in blog years? To celebrate, I’m taking Friday off to go estate-sale-ing — see you Monday!
Happy blog birthday! Thank you for all the hard work you & Kate put into the blog to give us the resources & direction (and all the fun crafts & home tours, time capsules, tiki fun, etc.) we retro/vintage home lovers need. ????
Happy Birthday, RR! I have been a daily reader since April 2006 when I discovered your blog while looking for ideas for our ‘new’ 1956 ranch. I’m still getting inspiration from you while we slowly make this house our own. Thanks again for all of your hard work! It really is appreciated!!

Happy ninth!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing articles, the laughter, and the touching stories. What an honor to be part of such an awesome community. You have been with me every day for the last few years. This blog has been a bright light on every one of those every one of those days. I can’t thank you enough. Did I tell you how really feel, lol?

Any excuse to eat cake! Happy Birthday to RR and that includes us, the readers and commenters. Nearly every time I read the blog, it’s a gift. Only been here for a couple of yrs, wish I’d known sooner but better late than never! Good to know I’m not the only “crazy” out here!
Did the rest of you notice when you do internet searches, most of the results direct you to retrorenovation?
Thanks Pam and Kate for your bravery to put yourself and your houses out there to give the rest of us courage to attempt the impossible and achieve the improbable!

Happy Birthday to RR and may there be many more. Thanks Pam (and Kate) for all your hard work. Once I discovered your site I had to go back and binge read the earlier years. RR is always the bright side to the day.

Happy Birthday! my day can not officially start without checking the blog! Cheers to the next nine years and laissez les bontemps rouler!
I have probably said this before: I don’t know what I would have done without your blog! I discovered it a few days after moving into my ’53 brick ranch 6 years ago. I had absolutely no idea where I was headed decor/ design wise. You were there for me every step of the way! You have been my go-to source for laminate, lighting, flooring, NOS parts, fabrics and everything in between. Happy Birthday to you!
