Happy 10th birthday, Retro Renovation!

Pam Kueber - Updated: October 26, 2017

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

Yup, today is the 10th birthday of the blog. My first story was, predictably, about a toilet. Over the next few days and weeks, I’ll be doing some looks back. But for today, well, I’m gonna think about everything. And hey, I’ll welcome some well wishes!

Congratulations on such a milestone, Pam!

From the get-go you’ve been an inspiration, not only in your content that you can’t find anywhere else- but also in making the blog work, and inspiring ME to try my hand at it.
So many exciting things I learned about because of this space. Here’s to many more (as long as you’re still into it!) xo Mod Betty

Congratulations Pam! I love your blog and your attitude. You do the retro decorating community a great service not to mention all those mid-century houses. Thanks for all you do. Here’s to another wonderful 10 years!

Happy 10th Pam, and here’s to many, many more! There’s nothing like this place anywhere and I could have never made all the progress with my house I have without you. And thanks again for featuring my little modest back in 2014, I still have to pinch myself now and then to believe that really happened, such an indescribable thrill to be a little part of the Retro Renovation journey.

Congratulations, Pam! I don’t know what I’d do without Retro Renovation. Not only is it fun to read, but you provide so many links to helpful information and fantastic stuff for us midcentury fans to acquire (or at least drool over). You have, by the way, convinced me that I need vintage metal cabinets in my kitchen. Ten years is an amazing accomplishment. I raise my Mai Tai to you!

Congratulations on 10 years! Quite an achievement. I’ve been “lurking “ here for quite awhile so I thought today might be a good time to make a comment. I don’t own a mid century modern house, but I have come to abhor the whole “gut and granitize” movement! I don’t know of any other sites that encourage people to “love the house you’re in”! Most try to make you feel bad about not having the newest update. I love how helpful and kind hearted you are to those seeking your advice. Huge blessings to you!

Congrats & happy anniversary!! I love your blog, you’ve really helped & inspired me to enjoy (even more) my 1952 Ranch. Even though you’ve cost me a small fortune (yes I AM blaming you, lol) in finding & restoring vintage appliances & such, I wouldn’t change it.

    Thanks again, Linda
ps, I have always loved my pink (& blue) bathroom :>

Happy Anniversary! Number 10! I have been reading your blog since 2009 when I found my Daystrom tulip table set. I was so happy to find the community and resources your blog provides. Thank You!
