Howdy Hudee — it’s me, Katiedoodle! I’m back for a brief visit to share a new free downloadable Retro Putz House Pattern! Seeing Erika’s collection inspired me to dust off my glue gun and bust out the glitter. Surprise — and Happy Holidays!
This pattern design is based on a house in my neighborhood that I have always admired.
It looks like the owners of this little home are on the nice list this year!
My favorite part of the pattern — the built-in planter that wraps around the corner of the building. Look, it’s full of fresh snow!

I have finished a collection of rustic putz churches and also a collection of pink themed putz houses. I have my eye on your Mid century modern putz houses. I have 100 ideas floating around in my head for these! Thank you for the patterns, especially a COLLECTION of patterns in this great design! I try to shop for any Christmas decorations or supplies after they go on sale after Christmas.

Is there still a pattern for the travel trailer? I can’t find it on the site.
Pam Kueber says
No.

Glad to know I’m not the only one hunting for it…I searched everywhere! It will always be my white whale. 🙁 I’ve got almost all the other patterns made.

If you google it, there are one or two putz airstreams that show up online. One of them is smaller, but I keep thinking I’ll enlarge it to fit in with the houses. I was SO excited to see a new Putz house! I was afraid a baby would put those on the shelf (pun intended) for a few years, though, as I’ve learned, I was able to get more accomplished before my girls were old enough to start asking questions than I am able to do now!?!

What a great design with wonder filled details! I, too, love the snow filled wrap around planter. Nice to hear from you Katie. I hope motherhood has been good. Merry Christmas!

Hi Kate!
So great seeing a post from you! Love the newest putz house. I especially like the “ice” along the roof- line, very clever! Next year you’ll have to find someplace higher yet to display them! LOL!
Kate says
Thanks!
Cora is doing really well with staying away from no no things…so I’m hoping that next year she will still be ok with the neighborhood after she is reminded not to touch. She’s a very smart little girl!

Way to go Kate! Nice! Have A Merry Christmas.
