Octagon and dot floor tiles with 11 dot colors + a second source

I have been getting a lot of email questions lately about bathroom floor and wall tile replacement tiles. Octagon-and-dot tile had some measure of popularity back in the day, and in the 12 years I’ve been blogging, I’ve seen “new” replacements options come — and go (several of my old stories are now defunct). A question came in again this week that got me hunting. And here you go: 4″ octagon tiles with 11 different color dots to choose from.

mint-green-retro-sink — An octagon-and-dot tile floor in the Comer House, built in 1950. This might be 2″ or 3″ octagons. I cannot tell if there are glazed or unglazed. 6 original bathrooms in this house!

Want some more dot selections: I am not sure, but you can check and see if these American Universal dots, available in additional colorways, would fit inside the MTS octagons.
