Four 1960s kitchens valences

pam kueber - Updated: April 13, 2020

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

My goodness, will someone buy these wonderful 1960s kitchen valances, mint in their original packages, already? There are four of them, each 60″ long. Great if you have several kitchen windows to cover. $29 from etsy.com seller TorchLightDesigns. See all my Retro Renvation etsy favorites here.

Awh shucks Tikimama! I just ran over right after you because they are the EXACT colors we are using in our 1957 kitchen…if they don’t work out for you, mark ’em up a little and sell them to me!! Enjoy, you lucky girl!

Oh, thank goodness Tikimama bought these…Pam, you didn’t need them!

Bwah ha ha ha! Sorry everyone, they’re mine now! Pam, you gave me a fright…I sit down with my morning cuppa and see you featuring these curtains that I’ve been dithering about. I high-tailed it over to Etsy and snatched them up. I’m moving in a couple of weeks, and I think these will be so adorable in my new kitchen. Thanks for the push!
