    I have one of these heating pads but with a blue cover with the same kind of controller. In fact, it gets too hot and I have to turn it down. The heating pad was in our house when we inherited it and since it worked, no reason to replace it.

    My parents had a blue one that they kept in the box when I was growing up. I think my dad still uses it!!
