avatar.jpgDon’t ask me why, but I love all things retro, especially when it comes to restoring a mid-century home to reflect its original style.

I’ve spent the past six years immersed in the retro reno of my 1951 home, and my kitchen will soon be featured in two magazines. I’m a writer, so I work to keep the posts snappy and to the point. And: I know you want photos!

Right now, the blog works like this:

Monday-Saturday, I post on one design/reno topic, and feature one eBay pick of the day.

Sunday, I post something more personal.
