Thanks to reader Jason for spotting this rare, wonderful oddity: A vintage double-bowl bathroom sink made from a single stamping (not sure if that’s the right word for cast iron) of cast iron then baked with a porcelain enamel finish. Oh, with hudee rim, too. I say “rare” because in eight years of spotting, I’ve never seen a bathroom fixture like this. Love. It’s for sale right now on ebay, below the jump. Photos used with ebay seller’s permission.

Hi! I’m the seller and it would be great to find a good home for this unusual piece. Any questions feel free to contact me at: anthrospeak@yahoo.com.

Carmen, you may want to post the dimensions of the sink on the listing, as this may allow people to do space planning and help find the item a new home. It’s a great sink!

Carmen, is this on craigslist too? I would swear that I saw one there just like it yesterday. Is that photo the current bathroom? I love it and it is just like the one in the house we lived in for a year while building our house but not the same sink.
