This would totally go beside the bed.

Oh I would love to add this lava lamp to our small but growing collection! If I were the fortunate one I know would just where I would put it, too – in the fireplace! Hubby has designed a cool way to display some of our more interesting vintage lava lamp thrifting finds by placing several of them in the unused fireplace and running their cords to a nearby power strip. It is SO relaxing and mesmerizing to sit on the sofa and watch all those different colored undulating contortions happening at once. Definitely more fun than watching most television shows these days!

BAthroom!

Either in my grandmother’s living room (wish I still had the massive Curtis Mathes TV console to set it on) or screened-in patio turned tiki lounge.
Sandy says
I would use it in my bedroom

I would love to have this in my den. I always wanted a Lava Lamp when I was a child, but didn’t have one. My great aunt had one at her house, though, and I remember that it was much more interesting than watching TV when we visited her house.

I have never owned a lava lamp and my parents did not either – I was always so envious of my friends that had one when I was a little kid!
Julie says
My toddler would love this! Especially since it doesn’t have the creepy clown

I searched high and low about a dozen years ago for a lava lamp for my son. It wasn’t nearly as nice as these, and it met its demise when he became too curious as to how it worked (he was about 10 at the time). Would love one for my living room!

I never win these contests. Perhaps this will be the time. I love Lava Lites!
