Well it would definitely have to go in the little girls room as a night light! She would get a kick out of this!

I would use my lava lamp to add some groovy ghouliness to my 1883-on-the-outsude-mid-mod-on-the-inside apartment!
Melissa Vinton says
I would love to win a lamp. I would use the lava lamp in my bedroom.

How cool! I’ve always liked lava lamps, and associate them strongly with classic Americana. Would love to have this special edition to set on my desk.

I was born in 1962, so naturally, my fondest memories are from the late 60s and 70s. I was SO envious of families that had Lava Lites because my family wasn’t allowed to have one. I was raised in a very strict family. Happily, I finally turned 18 and got to have all the things I want! My favorite is the Wizard model sitting in my living room, and has been since I bought this house!
If I don’t win the 50th anniversary lite, no worries… I’ll just buy one!

I never had a Lava Light. Seems like one of those things other people had. I’m working on our 1958 ranch house. I’m thinking this light goes in the living room by the TV. It could easily be more entertaining than what’s on the tube!

We just closed (today!) on a 1950 house that had some updates in the ’70s. A lava lamp would fit so well in our shag carpet room!
