If I won the lamp, I would have to pop the top and pour the contents into the gas tank of my 64 VW bus! It would give it the flash back it deserves! LOL

My daughter is totally into the 60’s. I would put it in her apartment.

I remember in the 70’s sitting on the asbestos tile floor of the upstairs bedroom of a mid century cape cod with my friends smoking the things kids did at the time, turning on the lava lamp and singing the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald at the top of our lungs.
I’d like to do that again. I never had a lava lamp of my own.

I would love a Lava Lamp for my new home in the U.P.! I’ve never owned one and always wanted one. They are so mesmerizing to watch.

In the living room of my 1960 bungalow. It will look great when lit up.

I’d use it in my bedroom

Entry way of our 1949 tract ranch. Or so I hope. Love lava lamps. So fun and soothing.

I would put it in my groovy family room but I suspect one of my kids would steal it to put in either their own room or dorm room. Ha ha, I could imagine us all fighting over it. 😀

Decisions, decisions…the bathroom (soaking in a hot bath with Lava Lamp undulating, soothingly, peacefully) or in the bedroom (watching it in the dark, relaxing to the flow). I have never had a Lava Lamp but have always been intrigued. It’s the Zen fountain for mid-century mod aficionados!

These things are so cool. About 5 years ago we bought 2 genuine lights from Lava Light LLC, both have turquoise liquid and green lava, brushed silver tone metal. I think we paid about $15 each at Wal-mart. Don’t plug it in very often, but so much fun to watch when I do! I don’t need to be placed in the running to win this prize light, so I wish all who wish to win, good luck!
