Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.
As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

My favorite part is decorating with vintage ornaments, elves and pinecone that my mother used when I was young. She passed over 35 years ago. It always brings back warm memories of our Christmas’together.

My favorite part of Christmas and the solstice season is breaking out my lighted faux pine garland and dressing up the mantle. I also have a small collection of vintage ornaments. I am always loath to use them on the tree though because so many get broken. I LOVE the idea of this beautiful wreath!

Shopping or making our yearly ornament. We have started this tradition when we started dating in 1978. We have Collected for our three daughters and now for our grandchildren. It keeps our memories alive as we unpack and decorate our Christmas Trees.
