Howdy, hudee — it’s time for our most awaited yearly giveaway on the blog: One lucky winner will win this gorgeous vintage ornament wreath, handcrafted by the Queen o’ Ornament Wreaths, the original trendsetter, the talented Suzy a.k.a. GeorgiaPeachez herself! These wreaths sell out fast in GeorgiaPeachez’s shop, so this is your chance to get one of these coveted creations for yourself. Note: What with Pam’s trip to Pittsburgh and Thanksgiving upon us, we will be taking next week off. Happy happy, everyone — see you on the 30th.
As far as we know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation!
In the last few years, she’s even started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page. Bottom line, we just luv this lady!

My favorite part of the Christmas season is just spending time together as a family in a non-structured environment and being reminded of all that has happened, good and bad, in the past year and looking ahead to the New Year.
Stacy says
I lve Christmas for the family togetherness.

The best part of the holidays for me is being with family. My mom passed away this past May so this year the holidays are going to be hard to get through, but we’ll get there one day at a time.

Collecting, repairing, displaying vintage holiday decor curated from family and friends. Best of the holidays to you all!
Annette says
I just love when the Christmas Yule Log channel starts airing…there’s nothing like a surround sound crackling fireplace on a big screen tv. So awesome!! lol
But seriously, my absolute favourite part of the holidays is getting to see and spend time with family & friends, particularly those who I don’t normally get to see throughout the year because they live elsewhere in the country/world.
Hailey says
I think my favorite part is decorating, because it’s the one time of year where “perfection” means nothing has to match. Anything goes, as long as it’s christmas-y, and the more the merrier!
Donna D says
It’s the best time of time year to pull out all of the vintage nostalgia and seasonal best.
Steve says
Taking out the ornaments one by one and remembering their “history”. And laughing at the silly ones the boys picked out when they were little!
Debo says
I love sitting in the glow of the Christmas tree with all the other lights are off in the house. It brings back that childlike wonder feeling that is so missed most of the year.
