UPDATE: Contest closed. We spinned (spun?) the random and have a winner: Congrats to Lisa, whose number came up and who promptly claimed our prize. Come back every other Friday for our next giveaway!
Howdy, hudee — it’s our first giveaway of the new year. Yesterday we wrote about how gobsmacked Pam was, when she saw the Ikea PS 2014 pendant lamp for the first time in person. Today — you can enter to win one of these lights, provided by Ikea.
How to enter to win an Ikea PS 2014 pendant light:
- To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and because our goal is to schedule a giveaway every two weeks.)
- To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us where you might hang this light. Or whatever, we’re easy.
- One entry per person. U.S. lower 48 states only.
- Entries close on Friday, Jan. 22, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, we will close the Comments field at that time.
- Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the light in the color of their choice directly from Ikea.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. We will email each person. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. If we do not hear from them, we will choose the next person who commented. Lather, rinse, repeat. We will post the winner’s first name as soon as all is confirmed.
- Terms of use apply.
Many thanks to Ikea for providing the light for this giveaway!
And congrats to Richard, winners of our last giveaway, a vintage Christmas ornament wreath from Georgia Peachez.
Disclosure: We were not paid to host this giveaway —

Great shape, love the glow it casts!

This would look great over our two-seater “breakfast bar and all-purpose catch-all” table. Somehow we put up a plastic “Tiffansy” lamp (it was better than what came with the house, and it was almost free at a yard sale) and it’s time for that to go. Thanks for giving me a chance, and Blog On!

It is a really cool and unusual looking light – so I don’t know exactly where I’d hang it, but wherever, it would really turn the room – or maybe foyer? – around.

Fun addition to the playroom 🙂

Like Pam, we were gobsmacked when we saw this yesterday. We love copper and were admiring the pendants with copper on the inside, then we came to this one. It’s the Death Star to the other pendants!

2016 is going to my year! lol
I would most likely hang this light over the dining room table. But one never know! 🙂

Giant electrified cat toy.
Wouldn’t live long in my house, but I love the hands-on fun of it.

Wow its GREAT! It would look fantastic in my mid century cottage!
I hope I win, though whoever does it will be delighted.
