Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

If you weren’t able to come to my presentation in Las Vegas yesterday, well, here’s a short peek into my life (including Astro!) that ran last week on the popular Boston TV show, Chronicle. You also get to see me follow the crew’s directions to be a goofball. Which I’m always up for. Gotta promote the cause. Happy Monday!

Great job! You and your home are awesome. I just bought a house with the same grass cloth paper as I saw in your living room. Is yours new or vintage? mine is darker where the sun hit it and lighter where there were paintings. What to do? If I take it down, I won’t replace it…..so expensive!

What a great virtual tour of a lovely home by a modern woman. Definitely a style. Pam you are going to need a bigger house for your collections. Or you are going to have to start collecting smaller things!

This was great. I always marvel at your kitchen! Your entire house is amazing! I love the “Vanna” type presenting you did for the shoot! So cute. 🙂

Girl….you’re going to wear out yo mama’s kitchen floor rubbin’ it with your toe like that. And I want to know…who ate that hunk of pie that’s missing?

What a fun piece! It was also fun to hear your voice. We all hear your “voice” in the way that you write for the website, but your actual VOICE-voice was lovely to hear.

It makes me thrilled to see someone else with so many collections around their house. I look at the fancy magazine spreads of mid-century interiors and they are always so much sparser than mine. But I just can’t part with all of my beautiful things – and I have to display them so that I can share them with everyone else, too! Glad to see that you feel the same.

Enjoy your additional fifteen minutes of fame! What are you up to now…years? Andy Warhol would be proud…

Congrats Pam! Your house is fabulous! It was fun to briefly see your Beauti-Vue beaded curtains as well. I’ve been thinking about buying a set of door beads. How do you like yours?

Lesa, the blog technology does not allow for posting photos. If you want me to consider featuring your kitchen on the blog, email me via our Contact form – it’s at the bottom of the page in the footer area. I’d love to see your kitchen! Best, Pam

        Hi tamela,

For the juice containers I think that ebay would be your best source. For the Flair, get with a properly licensed professional to be sure that what you do is safe! Here’s a story on where parts might be found https://retrorenovation.com/2011/08/29/parts-service-and-advice-to-fix-old-stoves-and-other-vintage-appliances-a-list-of-9-online-resources/
