Final report, Saturday, June 8: Congratulations to Kristin, Jenny, and Margie — our three winners, all confirmed! Thanks, everyone, for playing! ENTRIES NOW CLOSED.
It’s giveaway time — and this time, there will be three winners! Once I started talking with the owner of Bauer Pottery about the mid mod mad Brayton Laguna cats the company is now making from original 1960s molds, it seemed like a no-brainer that a giveaway would follow. And indeed, Bauer Pottery is generously offering to send one of these sleek sculptures to three winners. Choose your color!

How to enter to win:
- To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and other, occasional giveaways.)
- To enter, use the Comment field below and tell us something about these cool cats — which color would you choose, why do you like them… or tell us whatever, this is all for fun.
- You can enter once per day now through Monday, June 3, 6 p.m., when entries close. (You only need to subscribe to the newsletter once, though!)
- U.S. and Canada only.
- Prize: There will be three winners. Each winner will receive one cat, in one of the five stock colors of their choice, directly from Bauer Pottery.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. I will check if the ‘winner’ is a newsletter subscriber. I will email the winner. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. If I do not hear from them, I will choose the next person after who commented. Lather, rinse, repeat. I will post the winner’s first name as soon as all is confirmed.
- Terms of use apply.
Thank you so much, Bauer Pottery (see all the cool cats and their full product line here)!

Two of my favorites in life: kittahs and Everything Mid Century Modern. I’d love the green Bauer Cat to add to my mantel.

Ohboyohboyohboy! I love the orange kitty (though I prefer to call him ginger)! This would be a great kickoff to my plan to eventually get one of every color- and no litter boxes! Best. Kitties. Ever.

Oh my gosh I have a wooden cat collection and would love
Love LOVE One (or 5!!) of these cATS! Green, orange or Black – swoon!!!

I’d probably pick the aqua. Our family cat of 8 years recently had to be put down and this would be a good reminder on the mantel of Ollie.

I am such a fan of mid-century and love the cats! Would love to have one!!

Oooh these are gorgeous! I love cats, I am a cat person and love the shape of a cat’s form. The green is such a pretty shade, but the black one calls me! It would look perfect in my mcm home- I have just the shelf for it. 🙂

Long time reader, first time poster (I think) . . .
Have two black cats at home, so a black Brayton Laguna cat would fit right in at home. On the other hand, we have a black cat at the office, so maybe it would end up at work instead. But then our work colors are teal-ish, so maybe the aqua would be the best fit at the office. Nah. I’d probably still pick black.
Then again, the chances I’ll win are pretty slim, I’ll just have to live vicariously through the winners. Hopefully they’ll share photos of their cats in their new homes so the rest of us can see what lovely homes they found.

I love cats and we own a black kitty named Lew. So, I would have to go with the black cat for sentimental reasons. These are so cool.

OMG! I love these cats. I would like orange or black! Orange because it’s my accent color and my oldest daughter loves orange cats, and I love her. Black because our last, beloved cat was black.

I would love the black, I have a nice little collection of vintage kitties and this would fit in well!
