Final report, Saturday, June 8: Congratulations to Kristin, Jenny, and Margie — our three winners, all confirmed! Thanks, everyone, for playing! ENTRIES NOW CLOSED.
It’s giveaway time — and this time, there will be three winners! Once I started talking with the owner of Bauer Pottery about the mid mod mad Brayton Laguna cats the company is now making from original 1960s molds, it seemed like a no-brainer that a giveaway would follow. And indeed, Bauer Pottery is generously offering to send one of these sleek sculptures to three winners. Choose your color!

How to enter to win:
- To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and other, occasional giveaways.)
- To enter, use the Comment field below and tell us something about these cool cats — which color would you choose, why do you like them… or tell us whatever, this is all for fun.
- You can enter once per day now through Monday, June 3, 6 p.m., when entries close. (You only need to subscribe to the newsletter once, though!)
- U.S. and Canada only.
- Prize: There will be three winners. Each winner will receive one cat, in one of the five stock colors of their choice, directly from Bauer Pottery.
- Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. I will check if the ‘winner’ is a newsletter subscriber. I will email the winner. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. If I do not hear from them, I will choose the next person after who commented. Lather, rinse, repeat. I will post the winner’s first name as soon as all is confirmed.
- Terms of use apply.
Thank you so much, Bauer Pottery (see all the cool cats and their full product line here)!

Black Cats Rule! I have always loved black cats and have owned three! Would adore the black Bauer one as a memorial of how awesome they all were.

PINK PINK PINK
I have that mirror and almost the same tableau with a purr-fect spot for Kitty!

This is one of those iconic items that just speaks to me. My grandmother always had Siamese cats, and I’ve carried on with that tradition. The jaunty angle of the cat’s head reminds me of my feline pals. I have the perfect spot for a pink cat in my mid-century modest ranch already chosen. Thanks, Pam, for continuing to feed your readers’ love of mid-century!

These are so cool. I’d choose Aqua, but I’m pretty sure my kitty-loving 4-year-old would convince me to choose pink for her own room.

These are so cool! The colors and the lines make them all true works of art! The orange is definitely my favorite, though.

A dear friend of the family that I called Uncle Joe had one of these cats in black when I was a kid. He sold insurance. Every Friday the 13th he would put the cat in his office window for luck. I inherited the cat but it was lost during a move. Whenever I see that cat I recall Uncle Joe and his love for lucky 13 and black cats.

I love these! I hope I win… A black one would look perfect in our living room, or anywhere really!

These cool cats manage to be both elegant and whimsical at the same time. I like turquoise and green stones and jewelry so either the blue green or black cat would be my preference.

I love the green kitty!! I would gift mine to my awesome sister who just bought her first home and is a total cat lover.

I have 3 orange kitties so I’d definitely choose the orange one! Very cool.
