I have an identical Motorola Drexel console. Not sure if yours works or not, but definitely find someone to tune it up for you, change the tubes and check the wiring. The sound quality of these old systems is amazing. You’ll also note in back are some RCA input jacks for the auxillary reel-to-reel tape players – You can buy a set of cables at Radio Shack, and run your iPod or other MP3 player through it. Enjoy!

Motorola had Drexel cabinets for a few years in many styles. That was one of their selling points, and Motorola was one of the best products on the market. Yours is a beauty! I found one a couple of years ago, but it was empty!

I have an ad for Motorola that shows this Drexel record cabinet! There’s a couple dancing in their mid-century modern home, with a pool outside.
