Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Instructions to enter to win the Shiny Brite wreath made by Georgia Peachez:

  • Terms of Use apply to all participation on the blog — please read ’em.
  • I’ll run this one for one full week. So, contest ends Friday morning, Nov. 8, 10 am ish Eastern. Again: Winner gets the wreath shown.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Be sure to enter your email address correctly in the Comment form!

I love the christmas holidays. Love decorating the tree and wrapping the gifts listening to christmas music. I decorate the mantel with old decorations and dome new so pretty. Getting together with friends and amily so much fun. Not to crazy about all the dhopping but I do it snd I love watching other people dhopping. I love window shopping looking how the stores decorate. And listening to christmas music and all the christmas shows on t.v. love the holidays.

My favorite family traditions are going with the whole family – dogs too! – to the tree farm to pick out our tree, & celebrating my son’s Christmas birthday according to our family tradition of “the birthday boy gets to choose whatever he wants for dinner”.

My Christmas baby always tries to play “stump the Mom” by asking for the most exotic or difficult fare possible. In recent years we have had Beef Wellington, Moroccan food, Senegalese food… who knows what he will think up next! (Needless to say, we have Christmas dinner, proper, on Christmas Eve!)

My favorite part is putting up my aluminum Christmas tree that I got on eBay for a steal! Oh, and my color wheel too!

I love having my family around. Making a mess in the kitchen cooking holiday goodies with my daughters! The aroma and all the colors and music of the holiday seasons just makes me smile. Going to see the Nutcracker ballet. I just love Nutcracker music it must be all the years my daughter danced in it. Lol Hopefully this year I will have my aluminum christmas tree! ????

Shiny Brite ornaments adorned my childhood tree every year..I still have a few of them on my tree. Being 65 years old or so, they are a little worse for wear but conjure up amazing memories regardless.

I tried to make a similar wreath to this, using modern components…a disaster…so I appreciate the skill involved in making these beauties.

Christmas is about memories, old ones, silly ones, making new ones, rmissing those no longer here with us….Magic!

Thank you for the opportunity to win this FABULOUS wreath!
Fingers crossed..just like a kid on Christmas Eve!!

My favorite part is shopping for presents.

Christmas is my favorite time of year: the food, decorations, music, wrapping presents “just so,” after finding just the right thing for my family members… Both of my parents loved Christmas and passed that love onto me. Suzy’s wreaths put all the shiny love that is Christmas to me in one beautiful object! I would love to have this heirloom piece as a crown jewel in my home!
