Yes. This one broke too. Long story. New link posted above! All entries so far count.

I know: According to authentic retro etiquette, it’s way too early to talk Christmas decorations. But if you are thinking about doing fabulous things with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, you only have so many days left to ornie-hoard and hot-glue. Or… if you know you are never gonna get this crafty yourself — here’s your chance to win our super famous annual giveaway: A vintage Shiny Brite ornament wreath made by the the queen of Shiny Brite crafting, the talented and generous Georgia Peachez. WOOT!

Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Every year, as a gift to readers, I buy a wreath from Suzy aka Georgia Peachez for this giveaway. Thank you, readers, for being THE BEST. I luv you! Suzy always jumps to help out. She gave me a great price (her wreaths now sell for $250! each!) — and quick as I asked, she made this special wreath just for us. She said:

Pam, I made a wreath with my two favorite elements, a knee hugger elf and a reindeer.

Heck to the yeah, knee hugger elf and reindeer! Thank you, Suzy!

Instructions to enter to win the Shiny Brite wreath made by Georgia Peachez:

  • Terms of Use apply to all participation on the blog — please read ’em.
  • I’ll run this one for one full week. So, contest ends Friday morning, Nov. 8, 10 am ish Eastern. Again: Winner gets the wreath shown.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Be sure to enter your email address correctly in the Comment form!

Love the tastes of the Christmas season!! My favourite part is the delicious cakes, cookies, ice cream, pies and candies! When I think of Christmas, I remember the food, and the sense of giving at the dinner table;)

Why, setting up my silver Christmas tree, of course! Some years the ornaments are all red, some years pink, some years turquoise. I pool a string of colored lights below, since I don’t have a color wheel, alas …

Oh, this wreath would look fantastic at the Richland Rd Ranchette, along side the big twinkle light-infused Christmas tree my fabulous Gram made out of vintage jewelry! You know, the ones mounted on velvet in a frame? I’ll have to get a good photo of it this year… Every year about this time I am looking forward to all the food and wine and holiday parties! I also secretly love the cold weather…

During the holidays I love spending time with family and friends. Surrounding ourselves with festive music, baking cookies and holiday parties keep us smiling and thankful. Tis’ the season of love and light.

My favorite part of Christmas is decorating, baking with my Grandchildren, and spending time with my family. I also tried making one of these last year…what a mess! This wreath would be a great addition to my 1956 ranch.

1st time comment – It is never too early to post Christmas pictures! Vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations always remind me of when I was young with my sister and how much my mom loved Christmas. I love seeing things she had and I treasure the vintage things that were passed to me.

I love decorating with my many, many goodies obtained during countless antiquing & shopping trips with Grandma and Mom. Grandma passed this year and her special decor I have inherited will bring back very fond memories of the holidays at my Grandparents’ home. And I absolutely roll all my fave holiday movies while decorating…Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Serendipity, & Better Off Dead (big John Cusack fan). Oh and any Seinfeld episode with anything remotely holiday-ish in it…yup Seinfeld freak.

My favorite part of the season is the preparation, the decorating, the gift buying, the crafts, the baking, the wrapping, the tree trimming…it’s all about preparing to make this the best Christmas ever for my family and loved ones.
