Suzy of Georgia Peachez
Suzy aka Georgia Peachez

Update: 12/7 — Congratulations to Heather, winner of the wreath. Her number came up! Thanks, all, for playing! ENTRIES NOW CLOSED.

It’s time for our most awaited giveaway of the year — a chance to win one of Georgia Peachez’ gorgeous vintage Christmas ornament wreaths — complete with vintage kneehugger elf made to order just for me — to give away to one of you! As far as I know, Georgia Peachez was the pioneer of the vintage ornament wreath, and has honed her craft to perfection. There’s nothing quite like an original GeorgiaPeachez creation! Read on for the rules to enter — and note, you can enter here daily now through Monday, Dec. 4.

As far as I know, Georgia Peachez aka Suzy was the first one to make and sell these wreaths starting about 10 years ago. She started a phenom! In the last few years, Suzy has also started creating non-wreath vintage goodies, such as arrangements made in vintage vessels like head vases, retro toys and Christmas ceramics, as well as dioramas made using the vintage ornament boxes. You can see a lot of her adorable creations on GeorgiaPeachez’s Facebook page and in her online shop. Bottom line, we just adore this artist and all she does!

How to enter to win this vintage ornament wreath made by GeorgiaPeachez:

  1. To win, you must be a subscriber to our newsletter (Yes, this is “what’s in it for the blog” — you can opt out at any time after the contest ends, or continue on for the stories and other, occasional giveaways.)
  2. To enter, use the Comment field on this post below and tell us what is your favorite part of the holiday season. Or whatever, we’re easy.
  3. You can enter once per day now through Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, when entries close. (You only need to subscribe to the newsletter once, though!)
  4. U.S. lower 48 states only. (These limits are in place because shipping (and customs internationally) gets prohibitively expensive in particular considering the fragility of this product and how carefully it must be wrapped.)
  5. Repeate: Entries close on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, around 5 p.m. Eastern — that is, Iwill close the Comments field at that time.
  6. Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will receive the vintage ornament wreath pictured above, made by the GeorgiaPeachez, mailed to you by Georgia Peachez.
  7. Pam will choose the winners via the Random Number Generator at random.org. I will check if the ‘winner’ is a newsletter subscriber. I will email the winner. [Tip: Be sure you enter your email address correctly in the email field of the Comment form.] The winner will have five business days to respond. If I do not hear from them, I  will choose the next person after who commented. Lather, rinse, repeat. I will post the winner’s first name as soon as all is confirmed. Note, I ‘clean up’ all the comments before choosing. That is, if someone A replies to another’s comment within the same day that someone A entered, I take out A’s comment.
  8. Terms of use apply.

Many thanks to the fabulous GeorgiaPeachez!

Disclosure: I purchased this wreath for this giveaway
from GeorgiaPeachez; she is covering the shipping — thanks, Suzy!.

The few few vintage ornaments that I have are from my grandmothers and they are my favorites!

I’ve never seen such a great idea for using mid century odd ornaments. Love the elf!

Perfect for our “new” mid century home. We always called them Pixies vs Elves.

My favorite part of the Holidays is always dinner gifts and dinner alone with my husband, dog, and cat.

We go somewhere Thanksgiving day and relatives come here Christmas Eve. But on the days following, I get two quiet, tasty, restful days!

I love my tree fully decorated with Poodle ornaments with pink/black skirt and silver add-ons.

I love decorating for Christmas! Every year is a different theme on my mantle and tree!

Every year after Thanksgiving at my grandmother’s, we put up her Christmas tree, with decorations like the ones on this fabulous wreath. Those elves creeped me out a little bit back then, but, of course, now I love them!

I have loved these wreaths since the very first time I saw them – which I believe was on your blog when you gave a tutorial series on making them!
I would adore having one to hang in my home!
I know it’s going to sound ridiculously self-centered – LOL – but my favorite part of the season is decorating our Christmas trees. We have a minimum of five theme trees (always the same: Nutcracker Suite, Marilyn Monroe, Disney classic characters, Wizard of Oz and our collection of vintage German and Eastern European blown glass ornaments). The other trees depend on the energy level and creativity spirit left after those are completed!
