Ruth scores a vintage GE Celeste light bulb

pam kueber - Updated: July 18, 2010

Retro Renovation stopped publishing in 2021; these stories remain for historical information, as potential continued resources, and for archival purposes.

vintage-ge-celeste-lightbulbRuth of the wonderful blue Geneva kitchen has started her own blog “No Pattern Required”. Look what she posted yesterday – a super-cool GE “Celeste” lightbulb, 9″ tall and the likes of which I’ve never seen before. Ruth lives in Michigan — tons of great stuff there and she has started to nosh on it all!

Thanks for the mention, Pam. Just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about these bulbs, or if anyone has some of their own! If you do, feel free to email me a pic to post on my site. I have become fascinated with this since buying it…
